Eintracht Frankfurt × Sichuan

Brief Description / Context

Together with Eintracht Frankfurt, MEI WEN TI supported the establishment of a long-term soccer partnership in the Chinese province of Sichuan. The goal of the project was to develop a sustainable platform for athletic, cultural, and institutional exchange between Germany and China.
 
The focus was on the Eintracht Frankfurt–Sichuan Soccer Academy, which integrates topics such as management, education, and international cooperation alongside athletic training.

Challenge

International sports partnerships in the Chinese context require far more than just athletic expertise. Differing cultural expectations, institutional structures, and the need for long-term coordination between European and Chinese partners made close strategic and intercultural support essential.
 
At the same time, a sustainable platform had to be created that combines athletic development with educational and exchange programs.
